What the work does

Impact & recognition

The work is measured not only in exhibitions and reach, but in what happens in the room — the conversations that start, the recognitions that occur, the silences that shift our perspectives.

Annual Reporting

The In-Between Kings & Queens Foundation, established in December 2025 in Amsterdam, advances LGBTQ+ equality through visual storytelling. Our mission is rooted in Article 1 of the Dutch Constitution: equal treatment for all, without discrimination.

Since 2015, we've documented drag performers internationally, creating portraits that celebrate complete identities and challenge discrimination. We work particularly in countries where LGBTQ+ acceptance remains contested and visibility carries risk.

The first annual report and financial statements will be published after the end of the first financial year, which concludes on December 31, 2026. As an ANBI organization, we are committed to full transparency and will publish these documents publicly on our website, including our policy plan, activities report, and financial overview of income, expenditure, and assets.
